Joe grew up in the small town of Brockway, Pennsylvania, while Kika was raised in Pittsburgh, with family roots in Punxsutawney. For years, their lives ran in parallel, always just one person, one place, or one moment removed from crossing paths. Looking back now, it feels as though fate was patiently weaving their stories together.

That moment finally arrived thanks to a mutual friend (Thanks, Brendan!). A simple introduction turned into something that felt effortless. Before long, it was clear that what they had found in each other was the real thing. What began as a chance quickly became the start of a life they couldn't imagine any other way. The rest, as they say, is history.

Today, Kika is finishing her final year of law school and plans to join Burns White as an attorney following her graduation in May and passing the bar exam in July. Joe works for PNC Bank, underwriting commercial insurance companies. Together, they've found joy in both the ordinary and the extraordinary moments of life.

In their free time, Joe and Kika enjoy spending time with family and friends, whether that means sharing laughs over a home-cooked meal, discovering a new spot in town, or simply enjoying each other's company. They are especially fond of their long weekend runs, attending church together, and exploring new coffee shops and breakfast spots. These shared routines and adventures have become the heartbeat of their relationship, grounding them while reminding them that the best parts of life are often the simplest, so long as they're together.
